Are you using Area 2d for that? If you use a physics body 2d node like a character body they automatically collide with static bodies. Also, be sure to set your collision masks properly!

At least you went through the opening. The zombies just went through the walls. Couldn't figure that one out.

Yep! I like the engine a lot. I find it a bit easier to deal with than Unity.
